Following a national search, University of California, Davis, Chancellor Gary S. May has selected Rocko DeLuca as the university's next athletics director. DeLuca has been serving as the interim director since Jan. 1, 2021.

University of California, Davis, Chancellor Gary S. May announced today that Intercollegiate Athletics Director Kevin Blue has resigned his position effective Dec. 31. He will join Golf Canada in his hometown of Toronto as chief sport officer, where he will lead the national sport development and high-performance programs for golf in Canada, from the Olympics team to the grassroots junior participation programs.

Kevin Blue, senior associate athletics director for external relations at Stanford, has been named director of athletics at the University of California, Davis, it was announced on Monday (May 16) by Acting Chancellor Ralph J. Hexter.
