From Children to College Students, Dolan Delivers the Love of Literature

Frances Dolan, Distinguished Professor of English, was presented with the University of California, Davis, Prize for Undergraduate Teaching and Scholarly Achievement during her "Law and Literature" class today (March 1).

She was honored by her colleagues, students and administrators with plaudits, speeches and a specially decorated cake — a cake-and-frosting stack of books with titles used in her class.

The State of Things to Come

Amid “Envision ��ϲʿ��ͼ” last week and four days before “Reimagining Our Work,” Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi used her Feb. 25 State of the Campus address to tie all the forecasting and thinking together, as part of her vision of ��ϲʿ��ͼ as the University of the 21st Century.

NEWS BRIEFS: State of the Campus Address

Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi gives her State of the Campus address to the Academic Senate’s Representative Assembly, this Thursday (Feb. 25).

The meeting, open to the public, is scheduled to begin at 2:10 p.m. in the multipurpose room at the Student Community Center. Katehi’s address is the first item on the agenda.
