Students Take First Place in First Nations Rocket Competition

A team of ��ϲʿ��ͼ students has placed first overall in the First Nations Launch competition sponsored by NASA and the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium. As winners, the team will be invited to a VIP tour of the Kennedy Space Center later this year. The team was also awarded a grant of $15,000 to compete in the NASA Student Launch Initiative competition in Georgia next spring.

First Nations Rocket Team Prepares for Launch

Students from the First Nations Launch team at the University of California, Davis, will launch a rocket this Saturday (May 15) on behalf of a team from Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. The Canadian team is unable to carry out its own launch due to pandemic restrictions.

Two teams of ��ϲʿ��ͼ students have been selected as finalists in the international Biodesign Challenge. They are among 45 finalists from 12 countries who will present their projects on the first day of the virtual Biodesign Challenge Summit 2020, June 15 to 19.
