Campus Joins Alliance to Support Faculty Diversity

��ϲʿ��ͼ is bolstering ongoing efforts to diversify its faculty by joining an organization working to develop inclusive practices for recruitment, hiring and retention.

The campus is one of 20 universities announced today (Oct. 22) as new members of Aspire: The National Alliance for Inclusive & Diverse STEM Faculty, co-led by the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities and funded by the National Science Foundation.

New AAAS Program Recognizes ��ϲʿ��ͼ for Advancing Diversity

The American Association for the Advancement of Science has recognized ��ϲʿ��ͼ for its work in advancing diversity, equity and inclusion — and its commitment to do even more.

The campus is one of three universities to receive the scientific society’s Bronze Award certification in the new STEM Equity Achievement (SEA) Change initiative. The awards will be presented at the AAAS annual meeting in Washington, D.C., today (Feb. 13).

Pilot Project to Test Open Recruitment for Faculty
