The alumni and longtime donors are giving $8 million to support Aggies along every step of their college paths, from meeting basic needs to offering the very best career development, innovation opportunities and graduate school experiences.

Couple Invest in CA&ES and the Future

Linda and Bill Sullivan have invested $1 million in ��ϲʿ��ͼ students to advance the donors’ belief that all scholars deserve an enriching college experience without the burden of high levels of debt.

The couple’s gift to the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences will support the college’s annual fund — which Dean Helene Dillard directs to areas of highest need — and their existing William and Linda Sullivan Environmental Sciences Scholarship Fund.

Manetti Shrem Museum Unveils Spring Exhibitions

The Jan Shrem and Maria Manetti Shrem Museum of Art has announced its spring exhibitions, featuring Oakland-based artist Sadie Barnette’s first solo museum exhibit and an award-winning short film by French-Beninese artist Marc Johnson.

Located at the University of California, Davis, the contemporary art museum is free for all, and visitors are welcome to view the new exhibits from April 14 through June 30.

Peet’s Coffee Pledges $250,000 to Advance Coffee Research

Peet’s Coffee has pledged $250,000 to ��ϲʿ��ͼ to fund the Peet’s Coffee Pilot Roastery, which will be located in a first-of-its-kind Coffee Center at ��ϲʿ��ͼ. The pioneering center and pilot roastery will be devoted to post-harvest coffee research and engineering, an underrepresented field, and aims to be the leader in coffee science.
