Clarity levels at Lake Tahoe increased in winter and decreased in summer in 2016. The summer values were due to the continuing effects of climate change, according to researchers at ��ϲʿ��ͼ. The summer declines were so large that they outweighed the improving winter clarity.

��ϲʿ��ͼ’ Bodega Marine Laboratory is looking for alumni, and the Tahoe Environmental Research Center has put out a call for photographs or films that show the lake’s shoreline with or without algae before the 1990s.
