SURFACE WATER PIPELINE: A contractor is building this line under Howard and Russell fields to deliver a new water supply to the campus. The water will come from the Sacramento River by way of a new treatment plant that also serves Woodland and the city of Davis.

A construction company estimates it will start work Sunday, July 10, at Russell Boulevard and A Street, trenching across Russell to lay the last section of pipe that will deliver a new supply of drinking water to the campus.

The Woodland-Davis-��ϲʿ��ͼ surface water project started its first deliveries in the two cities last week, but the new domestic water supply will not flow from campus taps until Nov. 1 at the earliest.
