Mellon Foundation to launch a national IA Leading and Learning Initiative to shift institutional culture in higher education toward greater support of public scholarship in the humanities, the arts and design.

On Friday (Feb. 2), three days after the president's State of the Union address, University of California, Davis, students, faculty, staff, and community members will join a national movement. They will gather to exchange stories to help a Davis artist create a chalk mural expressing community feelings for a “2018 People’s State of the Union.” The mural creation will follow with storytelling circles on the state of Davis and the nation.

Campus Hosts Imagining America Conference

The 17th annual Imagining America conference will be held at ��ϲʿ��ͼ this Thursday through Saturday (Oct. 12-14), the first time that the conference will be held here, coming after the national organization moved its headquarters to our campus over the summer.
