He recently earned his certification from the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. The formal recognition acknowledges McGovern鈥檚 specialized skills and knowledge in athletic equipment management.
McGovern was previously a locker room attendant for the Sacramento Kings, where he prepared the visiting team鈥檚 locker room, fulfilled ticket requests and helped players with refreshments and warmups during games.
