Updated 10 p.m. March 31: The Aggie football game this Saturday (April 3) sold out in TWO minutes this morning! It’s the last home game of the delayed season and the first at which fans are being allowed to attend. Didn’t get a ticket? Watch the game on Sacramento television CW31 or listen on KHTK 1140 AM. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.

The Aggie football team, fresh off a come-from-behind win in the late going Saturday, will welcome fans to �������ϲʿ����������ͼ Health Stadium this coming weekend for the first time in the pandemic-delayed season.

Other Aggie teams will follow in allowing spectators, with more information to be announced at a later date. Capacity at football and all other contests will be reduced in accordance with public health guidelines. Also, Yolo County and university officials have approved a set of health and safety protocols for all of the campus’s sports venues.

Last weekend at �������ϲʿ����������ͼ Health Stadium, redshirt freshman quarterback Trent Tompkins rushed from four yards out to cap a 10-play, 75-yard drive with eight seconds remaining on the clock, giving the Aggies a 31-27 lead over Idaho State. And that was the final score after Chris Venable intercepted the Bengals as the clock hit zero.

Freshman Lan Larison (No. 3 in photo above) finished with 12 carries and 95 yards on the ground, scoring twice in the game — statistics for which he was named the in the Big Sky Conference.

Now comes the last scheduled home game of the season, Saturday (April 3), when �������ϲʿ����������ͼ (3-1) will take on the Eastern Washington Eagles, also 3-1 in the Big Sky Conference. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. You can watch on Sacramento television CW31 or listen on KHTK 1140 AM … or possibly attend in person.

Ticket sales opened last Friday for Team Aggie donors and season ticket holders, and will start at 10 a.m. Wednesday (March 31) on the �������ϲʿ����������ͼ Ticket Office website. All or most of the remaining tickets will be priced at $15. Team Aggie chair-back seats are $25, but all of these may be gone by Wednesday morning.

All tickets for Team Aggie donors, season ticket holders and the general public are being sold in reserved pods of two or four seats (with each pod limited to members of the same household), on the stadium’s west side.

; use the Promo Code “UCDSTUDENT” and register with your �������ϲʿ����������ͼ email address and student ID. Student tickets are being allocated in reserved pods of two; each pair must be from the same household, say, roommates. Students will sit on the east side along with players’ families.

Per updated state guidelines, tickets are available only to California residents and must be secured in advance (students, too). Paper tickets are not being issued; tickets are being transmitted electronically to be stored as mobile passes on smartphones.

Note: The stadium box office will be open for customer service — not ticket sales — on game day.

Health and safety protocols

Aggie Athletics has posted for all athletics venues this spring. The protocols include:

• Complete the (you will see links for two versions, one for students and employees, the other for campus visitors).
• Wear a face covering at all times (except when actively eating or drinking at your seat, or if under the age of 2). A face shield alone is not allowed, but OK with a face covering.
• Please limit gathering by remaining in your seating pods as much as possible. Gathering at entrances, on the concourse or in the stands is not permitted.

Concession stands will be closed and drinking fountains will be off-limits. �������ϲʿ����������ͼ Athletics encourages fans to bring their own snacks and water.
