Catalyst online readings during fall quarter will include 鈥淭his Is How It Happened鈥 by Sacramento native Anthony D鈥橨uan and directed by Lyndsay Burch (associate artistic director, B Street Theatre) in October, and 鈥淪mall Steps鈥 by festival alumnus and Davis native Briandaniel Oglesby in November. San Francisco art museums opening

The de Young museum is scheduled to open to the public on Friday, Sept. 25. The museum plans to open to members on Sept. 22, 23, and 24. This reopening is pending City of San Francisco approval. Check for the most up to date information. 

The  reopens next week on Saturday, Oct. 3. Members will be able to preview exhibits on Thursday Oct. 1 and Friday Oct. 2. To celebrate, the museum will offer free admission for all through Monday, Oct. 12.  Reserve your tickets and learn about the museum鈥檚 coronavirus procedures . Tickets are limited to comply with distance restrictions. 

The also reopens next week on Sunday, Oct. 4. SFMOMA will offer free admission and free parking through Sunday, Oct.18. SFMOMA members can enjoy preview days on Thursday, Oct. 1 through Saturday, Oct. 3. Plan your visit and review the museum鈥檚 coronavirus procedures, . Tickets are limited. Reserve your tickets online starting Friday, Sept. 25. Members can reserve their tickets online starting Wednesday, Sept. 23.

Have you been missing the weekly Shinkoskey Noon Concerts? Well, they鈥檙e back! Starting Oct. 1, you will be able to enjoy free musical performances via Youtube each Thursday from 12:05 p.m. to 1 p.m. The first concert will feature the group Keyed Kontraptions. Learn more .

NEA Grant Funds Imagining America Programming that Begins in October

Imagining America, currently headquartered at 澳门六合彩开奖结果走势图, has received funding from the National Endowment for the Arts to support IA's series of collective creative engagements that will take place throughout the month of October. 

This year's virtual program of performances, exhibitions, scholar and artist talks, community dialogues, and networking spaces replaces the in-person 2020 National Gathering that was originally scheduled to take place this fall in New Orleans. Their series of creative engagements will run from Monday, Oct. 5 to Friday, Oct. 30, with weekly Monday late afternoon plenary performances/dialogues and several smaller mid-week workshops and cross-promoted programs. Registration is . The NEA has approved more than $84 million in grants as part of the Arts Endowment's second round of funding for the fiscal year 2020. Included in the agency's announcement is a 鈥淧resenting and Multidisciplinary Art Works鈥 award of $20,000 to Imagining America.
